WRITINGS.
When the Democratic National Convention came to Boston in the
summer of 2004, Harvard University and UMass Boston teamed up to
create a two-page insert in the Boston Globe. The insert, edited by
faculty and others from both schools, featured writing and media
analysis from both Harvard and UMB students. I got lucky and saw
two stories, written with the help of former Wall Street Journal reporter
Ellen Hume and ex-ABC News vice president Ed Fouhy, published.
The website with everybody's stories is still up.
The Watermark is the literary magazine at UMass
Boston. Their March 2006 edition carried an essay of
mine titled "Medieval Murder, Incorporated: The First
Terrorists." It's a revamped version of my 17-page
paper for a class on terrorism
